Awards
Since the group was formed in 1999, Friends of Anderton and Marbury and the volunteers in Northwich Woodlands have won many awards.
All these awards reflect the successful partnership working between Friends of Anderton and Marbury and the Countryside Officers, and the outstanding contribution made by volunteers in the Northwich Woodlands.
2026 High Sheriff Award – Outstanding Community Service

2025/26 Green Flag Award
In 2025, Northwich Woodlands was again awarded the Green Flag Award. This award has now been won each year for more than a decade.

2024/25 Green Flag Award
Towards the end of 2024, Northwich Woodlands was again presented with a Green Flag Award. This award is a testament to the hard work of volunteers, Friends of Anderton and Marbury and the Countryside Officers througout the year. The Green Flag for 2024/25 was displayed on the flagpole at Marbury for visitors to see.
2024 North West in Bloom – Large Park Gold Award
